Reconstitution calculator
Peptide reconstitution calculator
Enter the vial size, the water you added and the dose your prescriber gave you. You get mL and syringe units, with every step of the math shown.
The three formulas
| Step | Formula |
|---|---|
| Concentration | vial mg ÷ water mL |
| Volume | dose mg ÷ concentration |
| U-100 units | mL × 100 |
| U-40 units | mL × 40 |

Calculator FAQ
How do I calculate peptide concentration?
Divide the milligrams of peptide in the vial by the milliliters of bacteriostatic water added. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL.
How many units should I draw?
Divide your prescribed dose (in mg) by the concentration to get mL, then multiply by 100 for a U-100 syringe. The calculator shows each step. Confirm with your pharmacist.
What if my dose is in mcg?
Divide mcg by 1,000 to get mg first. 250 mcg is 0.25 mg.
Can I use a U-40 syringe?
Only if your math is done for U-40, where 40 units equal 1 mL. Never switch syringe types without recalculating.
